Universal Credit is a debacle, that much is agreed. However, is the original system actually any better? I've been claiming for 3 hellish months, and now it's over I'm taking a look back.
Life keeps on smacking me in the face (at least when it comes to jobs) but I just bounce back up again. At least Thanos hasn't invaded!
Job hunting at the best of times isn't fun. But, when you're trying to fit it in with a full time job, a long commute, and serious panic attacks, it turns into a marathon at sprint speed.
Odd interview information within, handle with caution, but it might make you laugh (maybe).
Baking, interviews, then baking some more. My weekend is already looking as though it's going to be filled with lots of sugar and butter.
Not my usual type of post. General observations about growing older in the workplace following a rise in the retirement age (again).
Another week has just begun, and hopefully it won't end with another 3 hour commute.
The week drags by as though it's reluctant to finish, yet the time I crave (the weekend) goes by as though someone gave it an unhealthy dose of amphetamine. It's so so wrong!
My phone rang, it was Amazon deliveries, NOT the company I wanted to hear from...though Chris Evans DVDs aren't to be sneezed at.
